WILMINGTON, DE – Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International kept up the momentum in April selling a total of 13,936 SF and leasing a total of 31,130 SF.

Tony Bariglio and Joe Latina both facilitated transactions over $1 million dollars this month. Bariglio represented both the landlord, World Revivals, Inc., and the tenant, Delaware Design-Lab High School, in the lease of a 28,000 SF building at 181 Stanton Christiana Road in Newark, DE. The tenant, a K-12 non-profit charter school, will move in July 2015, and plans to open in August 2015 at the start of the school year.

Joe Latina represented the owner, Captain’s Table Limited, in the sale of a 5,400 SF restaurant and 6,912 SF adjacent space at 20859 Coastal Highway in Lewes, DE for 1.9 million dollars. The new owners, Lucey4, LLC, are going to convert the restaurant into a new gastro-pup concept named, “The Forgotten Mile Aleshouse.”  For a full press release on this deal, click HERE.

Other transactions this month include:

A 1,758 SF space at 145 E Main Street in Newark, DE. Bariglio represented both the Landlord, Hessler Properties, Inc., and the tenant, Griffith Family, LLC., in this transaction. The tenant plans to open a made-to-order donut shop, “Duck Donuts,” a concept that originated in the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and has successfully been implemented at locations in New Jersey and Virginia.

A 1,372 SF office space at 1306 N Broom St, Ste 1, in Wilmington, DE. Chris Moore represented the Landlord, 1306 N Broom St, LLC, and John Osborn represented the tenant, Devlin Law Firm, LLC, a firm that specializes in patent litigation.

A 1,624 SF office space at 5153 W Woodmill Drive in Wilmington, DE. Rich Dudek represented the buyers, Clifton and Carol Hunt, in the $194,900 sale.

Vincent White has come to Patterson-Woods as a commercial agent with 25 years of broad-based real estate development, brokerage and property and asset management experience. He is a member of severalprofessional designations, including the Delaware Real Estate Commission, New Castle County Board of Realtors and Delaware Association of Realtors. The National Association of Realtors selected White as a “Hometown Hero” for his extraordinary contributions to the real estate industry.

Chris Moore is a newly licensed commercial agent specializing in multifamily units. Prior to Patterson-Woods, Moore heldthe role of Managing Partner at Fraser Property Management, LLC, which developed commercial office, laboratory and multi-unit facilities. He has renovated and managed residential rental properties for the last 15 years. In addition to his real estate experience, Moore is a co-founder of Optimer ®, Incorporated and is credited with numerous U.S. and world patents in the textile and material-science industry.

Gary Lowe has joined Patterson-Woods as part of the Property Management team. With over ten years experience in the industry, Lowe will bring his expertise to the company maintaining commercial and residential facilities. Most recently, Lowe served as Property Manager at Asset Management Alliance, where he managed 55 residential units and several commercial properties for MBNA, a major credit card company that has since been purchased by Bank of America.

Allison Terranova has joined Patterson-Woods as Marketing and Media Coordinator developing and overseeing the company’s marketing materials and local press releases. She has a background in recruiting, human resources and event management. Terranova is a graduate of University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BA in English.
