Wilmington, DELAWARE (June 22, 2015) – Patterson-Woods/CORFAC International, a leading full-service commercial real estate provider serving the Mid-Atlantic market, today announced the completion of a 3,977 square foot retail lease on behalf of the landlord, Fratelli Four, Inc., at 74 E Main Street in Newark, Delaware.
Dairy Queen on Main, the tenant, will occupy the entire first floor of the retail building. They have signed a 10-year lease for the space, and expect to open September 1st. It will be a classic DQ “Treat Center” serving ice cream, desserts, shakes, and their classic “Blizzard.”
Rich Dudek, Principal at Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International, represented the landlord in the Lease negotiations. The tenant will be fully upgrading the fire and life safety systems with a new sprinkler system for the entire building.
The building has been on Main Street since the early 20th Century, and has been everything from a real estate office to a military recruiting station. Recently, it served as a rental office for one of the new high-end apartment complexes that have been transforming Newark, Delaware.
DQ on Main will be joining a slew of fast-casual dining spots recently added to Main Street, including Insomnia Cookies, Duck Donuts, and El Diablo Burritos.
